Special Hazards

Fenwal FM-200
Fenwal FM-200 is an environmentally-friendly, rapid extinguishing agent which offers the most versatile clean agent suppression capabilities available for facilities that cannot afford fire-related business interruptions. Active on fire, but inert on people (non-toxic when used in accordance with NFPA Standard 2001) FM-200 leaves no residue on Class A, B, and C fires. With Fenwal, every FM-200 system is checked for design accuracy. FM-200 systems provide maximum protection with minimum hardware, requires minimal space, and are extremely cost effective. FM-200 systems are UL listed and FM approved.

Fenwal Phoenix
The Fenwal Phoenix Series Systems use a unique method for propelling the FM-200 agent from the storage cylinder through the piping system and out of the discharge nozzles. Nitrogen gas pressure from a separate storage cylinder is introduced into the vapor space of the FM-200 cylinder at a controlled rate. This nitrogen pressure acts to propel the liquid FM-200 agent through the pipe network allowing for the placement of storage cylinders remotely from the protected hazard.

Fenwal Phoenix Series FM-200 Systems are extremely well suited to applications involving remote agent storage and situations which limit maximum pipe size to be used. The Phoenix System is capable of smaller pipe sizes to discharge large quantities of FM-200. This system can be sucessfully applied to many existing Halon 1301 systems as a drop in agent, to a new agent with long-term availability.

Room Integrity Testing / Technicians
A leaky room is the downfall of any clean agent fire protection system. The new NFPA room integrity test is a procedure developed to locate the sources of leaks and predict retention time, without discharging the agent utilizing Retrotec hardware and software. Our factory-trained technicians perform acceptance tests and periodic retests.

Complete inspection, testing, and repair of all types of systems. Inspection, testing, and repairs of fire/life safety systems to comply with authorities having jurisdiction.

Aven Fire Systems, Inc technicians are all factory trained and NICET certified in the installation, repair, inspection, and testing of all types of fire suppression systems.
